Manliness

Discuss the question, what does it mean to be a “man”?  Do you agree with Lady Macbeth’s view? Or do you think Macbeth’s consideration is more “manly”?

To be a man i believe it is to take care of one responceabilitys to be a man and do what you have to do as that man and take care of them. i dont agree with lady Macbeth view of a manly man i believe a man is someone that take care of his responeabilitys as a man.

Questions

How do the right questions help you access text better? What difficulties did you find asking questions?

Asking the right question makes you look into the text more . It makes you look deeper in the text and ask more question. I found when asking question it was hard to come up with really strong question to ask.
Duncan says, “There’s no art to find the mind’s construction in the face: He was a gentleman on whom I built absolute trust.”

Discuss the issue of trust. Is it ever possible to truly trust someone? Be sure to cite evidence on both sides of the issue.

To truly trust someone would be possible depending on the person. I believe in it would have to be someone that you really know, someone that never did anything wrong to you or anyone you know thats would be when you can truly trust someone. Other then that i believe that is kind of impossable to trurly trust someone.

Discuss inaction. Is one less guilty of a crime if they let it happen but did not take an active role in it? Compare inaction to action---Are there levels of guilt?

The levels of guilt are equal is what i believe. Even though you didn't pull the trigger to end someone life if you knew about it and took no action to stop it your just as guilty. no matter what anyone believes  inaction is a crime just as much because they knew.

Why do you think the author had Macbeth win, though he wrote Fortune seemed to favor Macdonwald?  What sort of man fights like Macbeth did?

  • Do predictions come true because they were destined to come true, or because people make them happen because it was predicted (like a self-fulfilling prophesy)?

Predictions come true because someone makes it happen, its easier that way. Its easy to make something like a preditcion come true simply, because you can twist it around; as well as flat out guessing something will happen. which is possable, if you have enough education about what your making a prediction about.
science for example: when doing a lab you to come up with a hypothesis witch is simply an preditcion of what is going to happen in the lab which when you are educated on the topic you can prodict what is going to happen. People also make tiny prediction all day which are coming true  because we know it or out, of pure luck. The wheather man, a man that make daily prediction that some come true some dont but make prediction and if he does job right he can predict the whether right.
although it is kind of impossable to predict the future accuritely, it is also impossable to say that every move you made your whole life is plan out. I believe that we make our own way through life because i dont think there is some higher power plan out every moment of our life. this is why i believe that people make prediction come true in many ways.
